Well, I've been thinking on and off that I should become a member, however, I'm proud of my non-member skills and my total skill level. (quickly approaching 1.1k) I was thinking about becoming a member only to easily train my non-member skills, however that feels like cheating.

So I'm kinda at a loss. What should I do? :-P

EDIT: I just came across a non-member, who has never been a member, and he has most of his skills at level 99. I know it's possible to do it without paying now. XP

Well I'd say it depends on how much time you can or are willing to put into playing. Members if definately worth it if you play more than a few hours every week. You can also train non member skills MUCH faster (granite for mining, shilo for fishing, etc). I've also found the player base is older and more mature, though you still run into noobs at the GE and varrock, generally edgeville and more remote places like port phas and yanille have more mature people skilling. It's really up to you. I'm still a member because I play a few hours here and there, and there's not much for me to do in f2p, because I mostly farm. :P

I guess that's true. But I play quite a bit these days, and I'm afraid that I'll lose some...I guess the word would be integrity. I've been playin' for eight years, never been a member once, and yet I have levels that members envy. I'm kinda proud of that.

Though I'm sick of morons calling me a noob while I'm killing guards. I'll think about it. :3

Lol, yeah, members has it's benefits. It certainly is a lot easier to train non-members skills if you are a member. But, like you said, you wouldn't get the "cred" for being able to say that you were never a member.

And yeah, there are still morons calling people noob on p2p worlds, but there are fewer of them.

Yeah, I figured. :-P I'm actually doing pretty well smelting and smithing for experience. smelt 5k of steel, sell 4k smith the rest, repeat. I even make enough money to smith 2k of steel every two or three times. It's great. Almost level 83 smithing now. ♥

I like having the cred, but it ticks me off so much that members get all this stuff over us non-members. Ah well.

No, I canceled again. I haven't played in a while. I'm currently playing WoW again, working on the Loremaster Achievement.
